Visual Communication

Hi

Had our assessment for Visual Communication today.
Even though was up till that time doing work, it was still incomplete. A lot of
sticking, gluing and annotation was left to do.

Sabba completed the Cd booklet using the images of us sitting down.
She was going to make another one guess the time run out. Still looked really cool, she
made up a logo and called it Ageha.

I made a different poster when I was up till 2 am, and did not like it much due to how the
colour contrast seemed a little too childish. The contrast theme was chaos and order
so well kind of hard to think about things.

Visual Studies & Photography

Hi

Yesterday after lunch had Visual Studies, where we again did a drawing of a
model, this time the difference was that the model was a middle aged man.

Colin (lecturer) gave us black card and white pastel to draw on. We had to use the white
to highlight the areas where the light hit with it. Some found it hard because they so
used to shading in the dark area, so they started to do that due to their habits.
Well I kind of wanted to get over and done with, so we could do something different.
The model only could stay for 1 1/2 hours, so we had to do draw four different parts
of the skeleton he put into the centre.
Was funny, thought it would be very easy to draw, but that was not the case lol.

We had to do our Photography presentations as well so was happy once I done mine.

Good thing was that we all passed photography which is really cool .

Fashion & Textile

Hi

Well fashion & textile was hectic as we all were still completing some sketchbook
work or adding something onto our final outcomes.
Me and Sabba only had our jacket arms to present lol, which also did get photographed
in the studio .

After lunch and everything Louise (lecturer) told us to present our work, so well it felt
like a long time, but that what happens with lack of sleep lol.
She liked all of our work, so that was really cool!!

Well my jacket is incomplete but here are images of the arm i did manage to make.

Photography

Hi o(〃＾▽＾〃)o

Was stressing out a lot in photography, still am worried about the work I have
to do. Well I did take some good images, I used some of my favourite buildings
such as the Cologne Cathedral, cut it out and mounted it onto black card and stuck
wood pieces onto the back so it would be able to stand.
I wanted to project and image onto the bulding, so using the cut out I projected the
image I took form the previous week, to see how it would turn out.
It was okay, it was quiet hard to make sure the colours did not fade or were too dark.
Also it took a lot of time just to take two pictures due to the light of the projector,
making it either too light or too dark.

Well after we left college we went to the Church again, Sabba and Zulfikar borrowed
SLR camera's so they could take images for their work.

Visual Studies

Hi

Visual Studies, life drawing, well this time the model was someone a lot
younger. So that was a good thing. Was not so bad as drawing was
much more straight forward, but still do not really like life drawing.

We had to do two pieces of drawings, I was standing on the left, right at the
front of the female model , unlucky I say .
First piece of drawing was not really good, did not stand out so much
because it did not have much of dark lines to make it stand out. It was also
incomplete lol.
Second drawing was better but also incomplete lol.

Contextual Studies

Hi （‐＾▽＾‐）

Conextual Studies with Graham (lecturer),
the lecture was about the BAUHAUS movement in Germany .
We looked at many designers some strange others really good, and some
that seem really out of place lol.
One of those designer was Mies van der Rohe and his Barcelona chair it
looked okay but with its weak legs, well it would be a waste of money as
the legs would break off once someone sat on it lol .

Fashion & Textiles

Hi

Today all day Fashion and Textile. Was fun but Louise (lecturer) was not in .
We had a different teacher who took over lol, so we did our own work really.
I started to do the left sleeve of the jacket so was trying to the embroidery
and also try to cut a v-shape out of the bottom inner part of the sleeve, where
the net was going to be.
For the embroidery I used red and blue, which look like lightening now so it fits to the
theme energy.
Took me a long time but did eventually get the shape of the sleeve and did most of
of the sleeves embroidery. o(^▽^)o

Fashion & Textiles

Hi

Well today I was trying to make a tiny test piece to see what kind of
things I need to for the actual jacket that I will be making.
The test piece is really messy, guess I made it too little and also should
have used darker colours when sewing the parts together.

Here are some images of the mini jacket that is not fully complete yet, as well as
some designs for the jacket. I actually made a full outfit instead just the jacket.
My designs were inspired by different architecture and Visual Kei artist
(Born, the GazettE, Alice Nine, Memento Mori, Versailles, Matenrou Opera etc.).
The last design was especailly inspired by Carua from Memento Mori.

At the end I realised that I tried to combine many styles of the bands with something
that might not have worked if not thought about it properly.
LOL if you think they do not work, than please leave some comments I would appreciate
it, as it would help me with my college work.
