Fashion & Textile and Photography

Did some work for fashion and textile lol, have not gotten very far as I
tried to do some more free-hand embroidery but the machine is kind of bad
for that ガーン.
Also thought about using some different colour cloth for the colour, so did test piece
in the last fashion & textile lesson with fabric dye ニコニコ.
Was fun, even though it was messy with all of the colours, think red was the worst
as Kate thought that there was a massacre LOL にひひ. Guess I should have used that
for halloween lol べーっだ!.
I had some images that I took last time after photography lesson  was over.
So here are some images of photography and fashion & textile べーっだ! Sorry
some of the images still have to go through editing lol so there not every single image
of my work 得意げ シラー...

The images you will find are those of the two pieces of dyed cloth. The first is Red and green,
while the second is red and yellow. The sewing machine, free-hand embroidery, and photos of
Xmas lights and one of flat buildings ニコニコ カメラ

Visual Communication

Hi べーっだ!

Yesterday had Visual Communication so was looking forward to it.
I was trying to sort my sketchbook out first, by trying to get some in formation
on the artist and architects work I'm inspired by にひひ.
The architects were Arata Isozaki, Toyo Ito, and German architects
Auer-Weber.
I liked the buildings they made and designed ニコニコ.
Also visited 2 websites one of them was by David Carson a graphic desinger
the other was called Inkymole who did designs as tattoos, book covers etc.
They were really good and thought I stick some of things I liked by them into
my sketchbook ニコニコ.
Also looked at some images for the spider-diagram on my first page. I searched
for some images that would fit with some of the themes I thought I liked and
possibly would do. So got some images for life and death, supernatural and natural,
dreams and reality, big and small.
I used images of Deathnote, Vampire Knight, Devil May Cry 4 and  image of a
parent holding baby feet in their hands, looks really sweet and adorable 得意げ.
After a while I experimented with my main theme of Chaos and order. Edited some
pieces together using some of the architects building I thought were really good but kind
of sad to see them in an area where there is chaos and disruption.

Contextual Studies

Hey にひひ

In Contextual Studies we moved onto Art Nouveau so saw how it was influenced, what
artist there were and also how architecture, art etc is how it is today.
We looked at Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Antoni Gaudi (Barcelona Architect) and
other people as well.
Also explored at the start that Japan had a big influence in Art Nouveau especially that
of printmakers and textiles. One of the people that were mentioned was Hokusai,

Graham told us that art and architetcure how it is today probably would not have been.
Especially modern architecture and so on. He also mentioned that negative space is important
and exmaple he gave was a house with sliding doors like maybe a tea house. With the sliding
doors it would allow one room to be connected to the other, creating one large room once
the door is open. His explanation was that both positive and negative space are needed and work
similar to that of Ying and Yang.

Visual Studies

Hi にひひ

Visual studies was a place yesterday that I so did no want to go to.
Reason being, well we had a model to draw. Female model, so well it
was something I really was not keen on drawing. ガーン Really was trying to
keep my cool, but drawing a nude female and our lecturer going through some
basic steps on to lay out the paper and so on かお ガーン well...it was really an
experience I did not want to have.
Thank goodness we had 4 or 5 breaks in between the 3 hours of drawing on an A1
size of paper !! DASH!
Well overall I think the drawing was okay, as I forgot thinking that the model was living
and nude. Instead was thinking of a sculptor, a object lol にひひ. So well that helped me
a little to get over the shock and panic, even though were told we would be drawing
her.
Anyhow after the lesson was over we had 30mins break so went up to starbucks to sit there
and have our coffee late and hot chocolate lol. Than went off to photography!!

if I do not like it.
Still have to do some more designs, maybe can do something much better.
Well I have to go to Contextual Studies now, into Grahams' pit lol.

Fashion & Textiles

Today mainly drew up some more ideas, by looking over Memento Mori, BORN,
and other artists.
Need to draw some more designs now ニコニコ. I think my last
two drawings of the jackets were the best so far, so hopefully I will get to improve on
the designs and find the design taht I like the most. ラブラブ!
Took a lot of cloth with me from college so I can do some work over the weekend,
when I get time that is ガーン

Photography research

Well I thought I do some work, so have been trying to find some images
for my photography research. I saw something on TV about using projectors
on buildings to make it seem as if it is not solid anymore. It also made
the buildings look attractive and special にひひ.
I found some real cool images so I hope I can do something similar,
as I wanna use light and architecture for my photography work. 得意げ
