Art Foundation: Digital Apps and Work

hii ニコニコ

As it was wednesday I only had two lessons of Digital Application with Adam,
the lecturer. テレビ We were sitting in front of the Apple Macs to begin our work
with the ZINEs... I was actually a little depressed ガーン しょぼん I wanted my
Zine to look a little more exciting and appealing to the viewers, but for me it
seemed as if I did not accomplish it at all. ショック! むかっ しょぼん

Well back to the ZINE, I edited it further and used images of buildings that I know,
seen and have taken photos off. にひひ
I used different effects and resized them according to how much negative space
I really wanted on the ZINE (poster, personal agenda).
I was trying to move around the images of the GazettE and also added the image
of SELFRIDGES and a part of a building in Shinjuku District Tokyo ラブラブ!. I really liked
the colours and shapes of them so I added them onto the ZINE and tried different ways
on how I could make them most effective. シラー ひらめき電球
To gain more ideas and isolate myself from the real world loll I plugged in my Ipod
headphones and started to listen to Linkin Park, the GazettE, Matenrou Opera, Merry etc. ラブラブ音譜
Really have fallen in love with the song DOLCE 恋の矢 I was going to have it on repeat
but than was like no concentrate on your work! lol
I stayed behind college with friends and so I continued with my ZINE trying to add images
of my guitar on it, to emphasize that this ZINE is about music and architecture and that
they have both got a common link with each other べーっだ! 音譜
After that me and Sabba went to eat, as I was starving, only ate a banana for breakfastガーン
So well, me and her were talking about the ZINEs and about what shopping we have to do yet.

We made it back to college and went to print off the incompleted ZINEs for the sketchbook.
After that we went to the workshop and started to do work on our 3D things, and wanted
to move onto our FINE ART work.
However 叫び ガーン プンプン the workshop closes at 4pm, therefore I for sure did not get to do half
the things I wanted to do !!

Art Foundation: ICT/CAD, Contextual &Visual Studies

hey 晴れ

After doing a little work in the library, Jackie's lesson started, so rushed to
ICT/CAD lesson, where I used the time to carry on with my Digital Application
work. As my ZINE is still not complete, and thought I do some more work before I go
to Adam's lesson (Digital Apps lecturer). ニコニコ I was manipulating images using photoshop
and trying to add some buildings into it aswel.

After that we had Contextual studies with Graham, who wanted to check if we chose
our 2 paintings. 叫び <<< just reminds me of the famous painting called the SCREAM
always cracks me up that does!!
After lunch, we went straight to Visual Studies lesson. We had to finish the A1 piece
drawing we started last Tuesday. The cup cakes and the red liquid in the glass were back in place,
so we started to draw with the soft pastels and got it all over our cloths. Well me and Sabba did anyway.
ショック! ガーン
We kept on drawing and ended up not finishing it therefore we going to have to finish it off at
home or whenever we can next time. ニコニコ
Anyways here is a picture showing the A1 piece of drawing, with a A4 piece of paper where the scene
of the cakes and glass is displayed. ダウン 目 ダウン

Art Foundation: 3D

Hii...得意げ

Me and my fellow class mates are working in that
lesson alot today because this week is our deadline ガーン.

Well I knew my concept was based on the positive impact that man made structures
have in nature べーっだ!. It did take me a while to think of what to base my final
outcome on, にひひ but after looking at the DNA structure and the helix, I thought
I could use this to make some kind of building or structure. 目 After staring
at it and drawing on it I came up with ひらめき電球 creating a tunnel.

That tunnel I drew up yesterday in a CAD programme called Sketch Up. ラブラブ! Just
can love that programme, mainly because it is free にひひ no need to spend £400 towards
it !!lol

Anyways back to the day, I used the images I screen printed to look
over the sizes of the model, and also if the design can be made in reality. ニコニコ
It took a little time to size the model down, but at the end I did get it sorted with
the help of my angel Sabba ラブラブ! にひひ ニコニコ
I used MDF (Medium Density Fibre) board, as that wood is strong and stable to drill into
or glue onto.
Perspects were used as well for the sides of the tunnel, and so I had to use several
machines to cut the wood and plastic on, and to file down any rough edges. ガーン

At the end I was unable to finish the model off, しょぼん main reason was that I had to resize
my model because it was too big.

After our 3D lesson was over, and Kate finished talking about how we need to create
3 different A2 sheets and finish our sketch book work.

Art Foundation: 3D

hi

I am really tired, have been doing work on my 3D project,
as everything has to be done this week, just like the other
subjects ガーン...
Really worried that it won't be any good しょぼん
Anyways, I am worrying about getting everythign finished
and therefore I have designed my model of the tunnel I
want to create in Sketch Up (CAD software) so I can see if
my ideas would really work in reality. べーっだ!
Well I realised many things when doing that, and so I
had to make a few changes to the original design.
The orginal design was based on a tunnel that has a similar form
of a helix. That however did not go much with my thoughts later on
and so I had to change it, after I knew what the problems were
when using Sketch Up. にひひ
I wanted to make a tunnel because I wanted to show the positive side
that a man made structure has in nature. ドキドキ A man made thing can
make nature look even more wonderful, so hopefully with my design
it will achieve just that. 得意げ ダウン 目 ダウンにひひ
