Me and my fellow class mates are working in that
lesson alot today because this week is our deadline
.Well I knew my concept was based on the positive impact that man made structures
have in nature
. It did take me a while to think of what to base my final outcome on,
but after looking at the DNA structure and the helix, I thought I could use this to make some kind of building or structure.
After staringat it and drawing on it I came up with
creating a tunnel. That tunnel I drew up yesterday in a CAD programme called Sketch Up.
Just can love that programme, mainly because it is free
no need to spend £400 towardsit
lolAnyways back to the day, I used the images I screen printed to look
over the sizes of the model, and also if the design can be made in reality.

It took a little time to size the model down, but at the end I did get it sorted with
the help of my angel Sabba
I used MDF (Medium Density Fibre) board, as that wood is strong and stable to drill into
or glue onto.
Perspects were used as well for the sides of the tunnel, and so I had to use several
machines to cut the wood and plastic on, and to file down any rough edges.

At the end I was unable to finish the model off,
main reason was that I had to resizemy model because it was too big.
After our 3D lesson was over, and Kate finished talking about how we need to create
3 different A2 sheets and finish our sketch book work.
