Hi
Was not around home as was in London with our Foundation
class for 2 days and 1 night (≡^∇^≡).
Was a lot of fun, we all met up at the train station at around 7.30am
and arrived later on at London around 9.30-10am.
At the station I shot a picture of Zulfikar, Sabba and Alex lol
, Alex just
makes one laugh with all the funny faces he makes.
We took the underground train and had to walk it to the hostle were we had to
climb another 100 steps. During our stay at London we probably climbed
more than 2000 steps on a staircase. LOL
.
Hostle we were staying at

Suitcases were hard to carry up and down the London underground, so tiring
was happy that we arrived at out hostel, even if we had to wait around
10-15mins outside in the cold, until we got our room and could than go up
to sort our rooms out.
Me and Sabba were shocked when we heard that some people had to share
their room with 6- 9 people
. Apparently Sabba and me were suppose to share
a room with another girl, but she seemed un-happy to the extent that she seemed
quiet upset, angry as well as having an attitude problem
. We did not like
that, so we were also kind of glad that we did not have to share a room with someone
like that. Kind of sad when there are people who just show their true colours of what
they are like
.
Well me and Sabba were having a room on our own, so we were thinking of using
the spare cushion, duvet and everything so we could sleep comfortable later on
that night.
We got visited about 20-30mins later by Alex, Denzel and Zulfikar who were saying
that our room is better than theirs, as it is more spacious and also seems to look
much better.
.
We thought we visit their room, so after we done our beds and Zulfikar wanted to
make us get a move on, so we could visit the gallery that was first on our list, we
went to chek his room out, which was kind of cool but funny because he had to
sleep on the top bunk-bed so he reached the room's ceiling lol.
After that he actually showed us his window that was open so a cold
draft was
coming inside was really cold. He actually opened up the whole window and climbed
out onto the balcony lol, apparently people were staring at him LOL
.

After him getting stared at like he was about to stand in the freezing cold
on the balcony like some idiot lol, we left wit him forgetting nearly to shut his door,
lol. We really have to be careful when we really going to live together at University
lol. He probably leave the door open than as well lol
.
We started to make our move, so walked up by Kensington Park to try to locate
Hyde Park, as we had to go their later on in the eveing to see the Winter wonderland
cirque and go onto the observation wheel.
We walked a lot actually, and ended up seeing a sign that was talking about an
exhibition held around the park by Anish Kumar, however we could not find that guess we
were more concerned to find Hyde Park than anything else lol (*^▽^*).
Kensington Park

After being tired and confused by walking for 25mins we thougth we turn back and try to go
to the first museum on our list, which was the British Museum. It was funny how we
at first got confused about the underground in London thinking we will never get around
there without getting lost. Although that is what we originally thought, it was nothing like
that, instead we found it easy to get to the places we wanted to go
.
We got to the British museum so went inside and I was amazed with how cool and beautiful it
looked from the inside and outside.
Outside British Museum

Inside of the museum

Zulfikar wanted to see the items of the Middle East and so we thought we go
there and also see the work of Picasso. Soon afetr that we accidently reached onto
level 5, which we wnated to go afterwards but just went to that while we were on that
floor. The work displayed there was really good, me and Sabba were quiet busy taking
pictures and being amazed about the items we saw there.

This was what was on level 5

Katana blade inside from 1963 made by Miyairi Akihira
One fo the pieces of work that was displayed there

This is a portable shrine that contains 30 guardian deities which are
worshipped on each day of the month.
Soon after that we ate our lunch and went off again to the next gallery, when we
got stopped by Alex who told us that Graham said he would be by Starbucks.
So we thought we might as well rest a little and also get warm while sitting inside.
LOL. Alex showed us some images he took on his camera of the riots about the tuition
fees that are going up to £9000 for University students.
.
We left Starbucks and went on to travel to the Nation gallery with the use of Zulfikars
IPhone apps he downloaded at the British museum...
To be continued...
lol
