Art Foundation: Visual Studies

In visual studies we started to draw with colour pastels to give texture and shade
with them.
The items were palced on a table, the items themselves were real and edible,
although I cannot say anything about the plastic glass that contains a red pink liquid.
I thought at first it was a water and juice mixture, but who knows what it was.
We had to draw the tiny glass with those tiny cakes onto A1 paper. So I covered the whole page
but the work is still incomplete.
It was hard to get the exact colour with the pastels, but it did start to take shape
which was good.
Overall I think it was a fun lesson, drawing those tiny things 20 times bigger than they were.
However working with pastels can really get messy...
